Nebraska Alcohol Addiction Helpline

In a 2018 study published by USA Today titled America’s Drunkest States, Nebraska ranked 9th. According to the study, 20.4% of Nebraska adults reported excessive drinking in the last month. That’s more than one out of every five adults. Worse yet, an astounding 35.6% of all in-state fatal automobile accidents involved alcohol. That’s more than a third. Sorry, but here’s another heartbreaker: 61% of Nebraskans between the ages of 18-25 reported abusing alcohol in the last month.

Alcohol abuse is a prevalent issue in The Cornhusker State, but unfortunately, it’s the same story all across America. Fortunately, however, there’s plenty of free help out there for those in need.
