The state of Arizona ranked 21st for excessive alcohol use according to the 2019 America’s Health Rankings. While this is only slightly higher than average, the actual numbers are frightening. More than 17% of Arizona adults reported excessive drinking, and nearly 10% of youths reported having five or more drinks in one siwtting during the past 30 days.
This is just what was reported. Factor in those who understated their drinking as well. This is an unfortunate situation for The Grand Canyon State, but we have good news. Call 855-955-0771 to be connected to a specialist who will listen and help in any way possible. The site also offers direct links to helpful resources and support groups.
